These terms apply to arrangementfile.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What Arrangement File is

Arrangement File shows Massachusetts funeral-home and cemetery information, including fee lines as they were posted on each facility’s own price list or rate sheet. Each figure is cited to the source it came from, with the dates we have.

Arrangement File is not a funeral home, cemetery, broker, or marketplace. It does not sell funeral goods or services, does not take a fee from the facilities shown, and does not rank or recommend them.

Posted figures, blanks, and accuracy

Figures are shown as the source printed them. They are not quotes, estimates, averages, or totals, and a posted line is not a final funeral cost.
A blank means the line was not stated on the source we have. A blank is not zero.
Facilities change their prices. A list may be out of date, and some lists carry no printed date. Always confirm current prices with the facility, which must give you its price list on request.
We work to transcribe each source correctly, but we cannot promise the site is complete, current, or free of errors. How we cite explains the method.

Not advice

Nothing on the site is legal, financial, Medicaid, benefits, or funeral-planning advice. Decisions about arrangements are yours and your family’s.

Accounts and sign-in

You sign in with your email address. We email a one-time link that works once and expires after 15 minutes. There is no password. Keep access to your email account secure, and do not forward sign-in links.
Your account and Pass are for you and your family. Please do not share or resell access.
We may suspend an account that is used to break these terms, for example to copy the database in bulk.
You can delete your account at any time from the account page. The privacy notice explains what is deleted and what is kept.

The 30-day family Pass

The Pass costs $29 (US dollars) as a one-time payment. It gives the account 30 days of access to the Massachusetts facility files, starting when the payment completes.
The Pass is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Buying again adds 30 days after the current end date.
All sales are final. Because the Pass opens the facility files as soon as payment completes, purchases are non-refundable, except where required by law. If you are not sure the Pass is right for you, the free sample shows how a facility file looks before you buy.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe emails a receipt, and receipts are also linked from your account page.
If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us and we will look into it.

Organization seats

Organization seats are launching soon. Nothing is sold to organizations on the site yet.

Acceptable use

Please use the site for personal or organizational reference. Do not attempt to break into private areas, overload the site, or copy the database in bulk by automated means.

Sources and links

Source documents belong to the facilities and agencies that published them. Links to other sites are provided so you can check the original. We are not responsible for the content of those sites.

Limits on liability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Arrangement File is not liable for losses that come from relying on information shown on the site.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
