• What is Arrangement File?

  A Massachusetts posted-fee research desk. We record funeral-home and cemetery fees as the facility posted them, or we mark the row blank.

• What does the $29 30-day Pass include?

  Time-limited access to review posted funeral-home and cemetery fees on file, comparison tools, filtered search, and sharable downloads for that window. It is not a funeral arrangement and not advice.

• Can I get a refund on the Pass?

  No. All sales are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. The free sample shows how a facility file looks before you buy. See the terms.

• Are you a funeral home?

  No.

• Do you recommend providers?

  No. We do not rank homes, sell leads, or take referral fees.

• What is a GPL?

  A general price list — the funeral home’s itemized price document under the FTC Funeral Rule. How to read a GPL.

• Does every home post online?

  No. Some provide a list only in person or by request. If we have no usable source, the public file is thin or blank.

• Does every funeral home and cemetery have a listed price?

  No. Arrangement File records what is posted on the source list — a general price list or a cemetery sheet — or shows an explicit blank or “Not provided” when it is not stated. We do not invent prices. How we cite · How to read a GPL · Get Pass.

• What does blank mean?

  Not posted on the source we have, source unavailable, or not applicable. Blank is not $0.

• Are your numbers estimates?

  No. If we do not have a posted line, we do not invent one.

• Why do you show a source and date?

  Prices change. A row without a date is not something to act on.

• Are cemetery and crematory fees on the GPL?

  Often not. Cemetery schedules are separate. In Massachusetts, funeral homes do not operate crematories; the crematory fee may or may not be bundled on the GPL line.

• Why do two direct-cremation prices differ?

  Different homes, different inclusions (container, crematory, medical examiner, mileage), different dates.

• What is a basic services fee?

  The home’s professional/overhead charge, often required if you use that home.

• Direct cremation vs cremation with a service?

  Direct cremation is disposition without a funeral-home viewing or ceremony. Adding staff, rooms, or a memorial is a different set of lines.

• Immediate burial?

  Burial without a funeral-home ceremony. The cemetery still has its own fees.

• Cash advances?

  Third-party items the home orders for you. Ask if they add a charge.

• Can prices change?

  Yes. GPLs say they are subject to change. Use the effective date.

• How do pro seats work?

  Ongoing access for counsel, hospice, societies, and municipal staff who need saved files and cited export. For organizations.

• How do I report a wrong or old record?

  Check the source named on the row. We check the source, not the rumor. How we cite.
